SQUARE FOOT GARDENING PROGESS REPORT
Saturday, July 18th, 2009You can’t see them very well in this shot but believe me the spaghetti squash seem to be happy just hanging around.

Yellow peppers are growing as they should.

This green pepper was first to actually make it into the house.

But what the heck is going on with the cherry tomatoes? Vinezilla is now seven feet tall!

And sadly, the broccoli is being enjoyed by others.

All in all, I think the SFG has been a great experience. We’ve used only bits and pieces of space, on the side of the garage and bordering the drive, and dang if those little plants didn’t flourish in just a few inches of dirt and not even the suggested amount of required sunlight! We may be late bloomers in the gardening department but this summer’s effort has been fun and we did learn a few things.
