I love that movie, and I'm always soooo rude about movies. Remember how it was shot illustrating that the Mormons and the Burn-outs looked only equally weird? How refreshing and honest. They beautifully pictured the concept, I am a child of God and my life is important. On a similar note, Rosie's modeling blessed her life with many sweet opportunities to share the gospel. Her life was equally blessed by generous, and very Christian, acts of kindness that were thoughtfully extended to her from individuals not of our faith or culture. New York Dolls! That is facsinating on all levels. Seriously, it's being in the world, but not of the world. What a "giant" Rosie is and was in her experience. A giant, I am sure, to so many around her. You know, it reminds me of the documentary "New York Dolls" where the acid- rock-semi-femi bassist tries to commit suicide, gets a visit from the missionaries, is baptized, lands a calling in a Family History Center when Morrisey calls him for a band reunion. And the rest of the doc is about how his prayer of a good hard core rockin' head bangin' show is answered. The Lord cares what we want. I LOVE IT!! Thank you so much for sharing. Insights abound.
