THANK YOU FOR THE THOUGHTFUL BOOK REVIEW!
Last month I received a completely unexpected request to swap books with a real PROVIDENT LIVING AND EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS EEEEXPERT!
Cheryl Driggs of www.simplyprepared.com, introduced herself via email and offered to review my book. I knew it was a great opportunity so I ditched the insecurity (just wait until you read her bio.) and mailed my book the very next day.
Now, on President’s Day, honoring ALL great leaders, it’s time to give a giant Thank You to Cheryl. First, for sending me a copy of her book, Pantry Cooking: Unlocking Your Pantry’s Potential. If you don’t already know how to cook meals using pantry ingredients this resource will be a huge help! Cheryl has knowledge, expertise, and experience that just goes on forever!
I also want to thank Cheryl for recognizing exactly what I hoped to accomplish in I DARE YOU TO EAT IT: “humor all along the way”… “not too specific” … “room for personal adaptations” … “purposely limited number of recipes” … and most important of all, a “gospel perspective.”
I have a firm belief that food storage has everything to do with love for others and living the gospel. I believe food storage can be a reflection of both our stewardship and charity. I believe that through food storage we have an opportunity for a better life, right now and in the future.
I greatly appreciate this obviously professional endorsement. Thank you Cheryl for posting your kind comments about I DARE YOU TO EAT IT on your website. I’m sure it will be a great help as I work to share this message. Best, Liesa Card

I just asked my library to purchase copies of your book for circulation. I’ll be mentioning your site to the members of the food storage group I’m in as well…thank you for all the great info!

That is great Laura! Thank you for the help. Food storage isn’t difficult and I really hope more people will learn how to become more prepared.

And thank you, Liesa, for your compliments and kind words. The more of us there are getting the word out about usable and appetizing food storage, the more we will reach and help be more prepared!
