Okay, Okay…
The skirts are really cute. There, I said it. They’re cute and they came from the D.I.
Here’s the thing, I’ve never been anti Deseret Industries, it’s just that I feel like you have to be careful when shopping there. I mean you walk into their store and suddenly you desperately want to buy that dusty, semi-broken blender (with baby spiders hiding in the bottom) because it’s only a dollar. Or what’s worse, you spot one of your old belongings and naturally, you want it back—like that old girls camp t-shirt that’s covered with butterflies and magic marker notes from fellow campers that say things like “U R A QT!”
SO, I am in support of thrift stores, but only in moderation. One minute you feel like a queen with money to spare, the next (and $15 later. . .), you’re walking out the doors with three stained floral blouses, a walkman that’s missing its earphones (THANK GOODNESS), and a pair of green corduroy pants that you have no business wearing.
With that said, I’d just like to say THANKS MOM! Way to find the GEMS…they are perfect (and so very clean). Tender mercy.
Love you,
Hays

Way to go Hailey! I’m glad that you finally realized that your mom’s a “diligent” shopper, she finds all the bargains! and she’s fun to be with while she’s doing it! Congrats on the upcoming mission, make sure that you let us know, when and where. We’re all rooting for you down here in LV. But first get that graduation behind you, you’ve done it!!!
