I CAN’T BELIEVE IT!
I just found out that, I DARE YOU TO EAT IT, has been purchased by Costco and Deseret Book!!!
Deseret Book already has their supply of my book available at 20 ’select stores’ (?) and online at deseretbook.com. For everyone that’s already read the book, it would be great to have your review as part of their website so please feel free to leave your comments there.
Costco should have their supply of books available in the next 10 days. They’ve already scheduled me for nine separate book signings in March. (I hope it doesn’t feel like fragrance modeling.) The buyer suggested that my daughters could help at these events, passing out bookmarks and answering questions. I’m afraid that may be a little toooooo Oliver Twist for them. “Would you like to buy a flower, Miss?”
Anyway, it is what it is…and these are the dates and locations, if you’re interested.
Lehi Costco: March 9th, 10-2
Orem Costco: March 13th, 10-2
Sandy Costco: March 14th, 12-4
SLC Costco: March 16th, 10-2
Ogden Costco: March 19th, 10-2
St. George Costco: March 20th, 12-4
Bountiful Costco: March 23rd, 10-2
West Valley City Costco: March 27th, 10-2
Orem Costco: March 28th 12-4
Please stop by if you’re in the area and would like to say hello. Hopefully I’ll be right across from where they’re sampleing the Dove Bars!

Will the book be available at other Costco locations too? I’m in Kansas.

Hi Charlene! They’re rolling it out in Utah first, but you can still order the book on my website or deseretbook.com.
People have also organized group purchases (10 +) and saved on the shipping and handling. If you’re interested in that option please email me for the details. Thank you for asking!

We’ll have to stop by for the book signing, too bad they won’t be serving something yummy from your book for lunch!

Woohoo and congratulations! I just got my book yesterday and I love it, especially the way you connect food storage to the larger message of the gospel. Kudos to you!

Thank you very much, Elizabeth! I really can’t believe that this is happening. Just thankful that more people are thinking about the opportunities that come with food storage.

Liesa–I don’t know if you remember me, but I’m Fred’s wife.
I read your book when I was at Khaliel’s. I loved it. What a great thing you have done by writing it. I’m so happy for your success.
And I’m going to be sure to pick up my own copy so I can get started.

Hi Lindsey! Thank you for saying hello! I received your other comment and I’ll see if I can do that. I love the idea, and appreciate your support, and only wish I wasn’t so clueless on the techno.

Liesa! That is fantastic! Congratulations. I have been swamped with preparing to move back to Utah and being pregnant, so I haven’t finished your awesome book or posted it to my blog yet. I will get on that! You are an inspiration!

Thank you so much, Sage! My best to you with the move and pregnancy. Oh baby. I have been there…and done that.

Hey Bobbi Jo! That is so nice of you to write and tell me this. Where did you order the book? Just curious. It surprises me that it’s now available from so many sources. Wild. I hope you enjoy it and know that it comes from my heart. xo

I’m going to get a copy for my brother (the Costco karaoke demo boy) and his wife. I tried to send him to Costco to get a signed copy but for some reason the place had bad memories for him. Weird, huh? Anyway, I’ll probably order it from Barnes and Noble since I have a huge giftcard left over from Christmas (although it’s available for $8.40 + shipping through amazon.com if anyone’s looking for a bargain).

Elizabeth, $8.40 is awesome! Thanks for the tip. After a dozen signings, I totally understand your brother’s pain. A complex experience to say the very least.
