GOOD CLEAN FUN
So far, Lizzie’s twelve-year-old Birthday party has turned out to be very inexpensive, very simple, and very fun! We filled two giant garbage bags with random Halloween costumes and had our own little Film Festival. The ten girls were divided into two teams, sent to opposite ends of the house, and given about 20 minutes to come up with a skit.
I can’t believe I never tried this before! With all the parties I planned for the four other daughters plus about 18 years in the Young Women’s program, THIS was by far the most fun with the least amount of preparation. This activity didn’t cost a dime!
I’m not sure how the movies will turn out but the skits were hysterical to watch. The girls were laughing when it was their turn to act, laughing when it was their turn to be the audience, and repeated the whole process at least three or four times. (One girl, dressed as King Tut, said her name was Princess Hepatitis!)
It’s midnight now, so I figure we only have about three or four more hours to go.
